Ive been pretty quiet on the board lately but check in on it almost daily. Once again I ask you to put my daughter Kelsey on your prayer list. Last December she was diagnosised with a rare disease called Aplastic Anemia. In Febuary she under went a bone marrow transplant withn her older 11 year brother being her donor.Engraftment went well until early summer whenher body started to lose the engraftment. Our transplant specialist has transfered from Iowa City to Kansas City Mercy Childrens Hospital. The last few months weve been bouncing to KC and Blank here in Des Moines doing tested and other treatments. The 16 of December Kelsey will be going to CHMH in KC to start her chemo and radiation treatments and a marrow transplant around the 22nd.Then its a waiting game on how long we'll be in the transplant unit.So if you would say a little prayer for Kelsey, if I could do it for her I would, but this is something a dad cant do.Its tough enough having to watch her go through it once but twice is goping to be alittle tougher. Not to mention her older brother (my crappie fishing partner ) to have to go through the donor process again. But he is a true lifesaver. As Kelsey likes to say PEACE OUT. PJ

" Be strong in the Lord and the power of his might"
" Those that dwell in the secret place of the most high will abide under the shadow of the Almighty"
" Iwill lift up my eyes to the hills- from where does my help come from ? My help help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and Earth."

Prayers sent.
I would suggest for you to read Psalms, Pray and trust in the Lord.
Have Faith.

Prayers sent and may God bless you and your family in amazing ways. I'm sitting in my office in Kansas City this morning. About one mile south of here is Children's Mercy Hospital. From this moment forward, each time I look out my window (it happens to face south towards the Hospital), I will think of Kelsey. If you are up to having a visitor at the hospital, let me know.

Prayers sent!! I understand the father watching a daughter going through such a thing is hardest...sadly I have been there! But when they show their strength during the whole ordeal it makes us so proud! Mine is recovering from spinal surgery as I type and has been in terrible pain! She has her moments of giving up and its all a dad can take. But when she is over them she always hugs me with tears in her eyes and thanks me for being strong for her! If they only really knew how are hearts are breaking for them! God bless both your little ones and the family!
