the pudd-hole is a tough lake
to fish period but there are some
    nice slabs to be had....

look for the shad and you'll
    get on some fish...

it sounds like you might want to wait
    tell march time..

its tough out there right now

yeah i know its a hard lake. been going there for so long and only caught a handful of lmb and some blue gils

where did you go to catch your black crappie?

i dont want to drive too far. 40-50 mile radius of puddingstone.

Look for the drop offs throughout the lake. Later in the year fish around the docks. Those are the areas I have caught mine. Look at the august so cal crappie post.
