Anyone used or tried 'Slab Daddy' jigs. If so, your opinions, please.

    Thanks,

I'd advise you to spend your money on something else. I have some, and they are not the most durable jigs, and they are very pricey in my opinion.

They work, but the body starts coming apart after you catch a few fish. I like them but wish they held up better. I have had very good luck with them in cold weather.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

I agree, they don't hold up. They are a poor imitation of THUMP IT JIGS .

Check out the guys here if you're looking for jigs they'll last a lot longer and you can ask for color combo's that you want.

I had good luck with them at Guntersville Lake this spring. No problems with them falling apart.

Although I have not used any Slab Daddys. I have heard from several users and different internet forums that they do not hold up well.

I tend to dismiss rumors, but I've heard this quality issue with these jigs too often.

I'm sure there are several reputable manufacturers of hand-tied jigs right here on this forum that can satisfy any need you might have.

All my hand-tied jigs come from one source. I have yet to have any issues from these jigs.

I'm sure the guys on this site make great jigs, I just like being able to walk into the store and see what I am buying in person and take it home that day. I don't like ordering off of a website and then waiting for the mail.

The slab daddys caught fish for me and if it weren't for the durability issue I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

+1 for Jigum! Matthew is a stand up guy and makes a great product. All I need him to do is start posting over here.
