Well, got a chance to prefish up there in Astor, and man did it start out great. Went all the way to Lake Woodruff and started trolling back in about 6-7 ft of water with jigs about 2 ft down. Before I had all the poles in the water we had 3 hogs. We were steady catching fish in Woodruff until about 8:00am and then nothing. Tried Tick creek,Lake Dexter, nothing, talked to other people on Dexter and they said it had been that way since the water levels rose in the ST. Johns river. We left with 8 really nice fish and 10 smaller ones. Also tried the St. Johns but the water is hauling butt. Hope this info will help anyone fishing with us next weekend.
