when I use braid,it's suffix braid, orange in color, good stuff. whats this line tamer stuff your speak of
This is what I put on my new rigs to try out. The Suffix doesn't seem stick as much as the PowerPro. It is super smooth for braid. I felt all the "in stock" braids while shopping at Gander. Good line for Ky double rigging.
The again, the non sticking could be because I tried out some Line Tamer that Leland (Cherokee Rods) sent me.
Nothing is conclusive.

Here's the skinny:
4 oz. pump spray applicator, {more uses for your dollar} Apply to line the night before you fish, then apply just before and during fishing as needed.
Works on any reel, relaxes mono. line set. Increases casting accuracy and distance.
Even extends the life of old line. Works on all types of lines. Spray your sonar screens to reduce reflectivity and enhance clarity. Great on sunglasses too! Made in Eufaula Oklahoma USA. You will love it!

That Suffix braid 10/2 is excellent for jigging, casting out a RR or plastic shad. I goofed and tried some on slip bobber rigs also, OUCH that braid is so slick I could not get my slip bobber knots to stay in place, using rubber bands tied in knots helped but I have gone back to gamma and vicious for slip bobber rigs.Cane Pole Suffix 10/2 hi-viz braid report.

One thing I have noticed on Power Pro and Suffix is that the yellow exposed line fades fast.
Anyone notice this?
I am new to braid. No experience to speak of.

Yeah, I notice the yellow fades fast too. It doesn't seem to make a performance difference other than it isn't as easy to see.

I had some super line 6 or 8 yrs ago when I was bass fishing alot, living in FL. Started out green and was almost white in a short while. Even though I keep my gear inside I thought it was from the sun. Learned later it was cuz the stuff is hard to dye. Saw a show on tv last weekend and the guy took a magic marker to the last few feet of his to make it black, then added 4 to 8 feet of fluorocarbon for the line shy when wormin. Tied direct to braid when fishin spinnerbaits cuz it was more of a reaction strike.
