    Default Favorite cooler?

I'm needing another cooler, preferably around a 54 qt. size. What's the best one for the money?

My personal vote goes for the Igloo Marine series of coolers. They are "4 day" coolers. They are well built and I've had one for over 20 years with no trouble from it.

I agree with the others, I've always been happy with an Igloo.

Coleman and igloo both make good 5 day coolers. Currently, I am using igloos.

My favorite cooler is a Colemen cooler.

My family colemen is 30 years old and last year was retired from family duties to a livewell in my boat. Its been stood on, dropped, kicked, attacked by racoons, stuffed under picnic table seats to keep coons out, and even used as a support for cutting wood, staining wood, and spray painting projects. Been used and abused over the years. The top is cracked, its fugly, the drain plug finally broke off last year, however it still works, the lid still locks closed, the handles are still functional, it still keeps its contents cold, and its a plastic cooler.

    The metal ones last longer.

Thanks for all the comments. Igloo's and Colemans are both in my cooler collection and have been good coolers.

Cousinlll, the Yeti was the one I was interested in, just couldn't remember the name. Thanks.

Anyone have a Yeti cooler? Are they worth the $$$?
