How is it that we can spend 6 hours in a boat, in 40 degree temps and a driving rain, and come home soaked, frozen, and with only 1 slab... and still think we've had a GOOD DAY?!?!?!?!?!:D:D:D

Because we have dadgummit! There are a lot of guys in nursing homes that wish they could do that.

Just think, while YOU were in that boat freezing and caught 1,I bet that it felt like a sunny spring day while you were pulling it in.All the bad stuff is just life, lol. But the catching thing can be a lot better then real life.lol.

I don't know which I enjoy more! :) Wonder why there are no high paying careers available for full-time Harley riding crappie fishermen??? :(

Anytime in Iowa we can get on open water on the 28th of Nov. with no wind 55 degrees and hungry crappies in the brush like we had yesterday is awesome.25 fish between 11 to 13 inches in 3 hours.I know exactly what your'e talking about.

It sure beats being supervised on how to trim the Crepe Myrtles. My boat stays ready for such instances. I keep a tent in my truck in case it gets too bad.

I launched my boat a while back, Than God it was my old aluminum boat , when it was 28 degrees. Didn't pay attention to the ramp and talked with the guy who had just put in. Back in, boat gets wet, hit the brakes and keep right on going. The other fella's water off of the trailer had frozen the ramp. Thankfully it stopped when my rear tires hit the waterline. Puckered up good for a minute there.
If the sun came up, not necessarily out, today, then it's time to fish!!!
