Two swords and a wahoo, that is a heck of a day!!! How far down were the swords? You have some mighty fine eats there. Wahoo are so fast it is scary.

The swords were in 1300 feet of water, and yes a wahoo can scream a reel in no time.

In Hawaii they call wahoo ono. The rough English translation for ono is tasty. Mighty tasty and it is like an acquatic cruise missle. If they got the size of tuna, marlin or sharks I don't think you could land them. I caught one about 40 lbs in Costa Rica and it kicked up a rooster tail like a jet ski. You can find it at higher end seafood places around St. Louis on occasion. For some reason when they have it on the menu it isn't that expensive. Bright white and meaty. I hope he also catches a cobia on his trip and he will have the trifecta of finest tasting white meat fish (IMHO).

Nice fish! I really like the wahoo, they can flat get with it and make a reel smoke! And very Delicious!

I was going to start a drum guide service on Truman. But the ones you caught were much bigger than what I can get here on Truman.
