    Default Homemade submersible fishing light

I built this out of frustration. Seems like most things today are mass produced oversees and make just durable enough to outlive the return/refund time.
It uses a Pyrex glass testube
    50W 12V halogen bulb
    12 gauge solid wire
    boat plug
    bb's for weight
    vinyl tubing

Building it was such a precise delicate process Im afraid to even use it. If it breaks Im just going to laugh!

Hey SlimeCoat it looks great to me. You've been thinking, and stepped up to the plate, good job.

It sat in a bucket all night and didnt leak. The test tube is compressing the plug and the plug is compressing the the tube running through it. No leaks! An electronics guru said that this would run 17 hours on my battery but that I should only run it down for half that time.

Would it have been easier to just purchase a Crappi Candle?

Please make sure that you do not put in the water after it's been on for any amount of time as it could shatter! Good job on your creation.
