    Default O.S.S. and Braided line

I cuss the braided line everyday I use it, but I sure like it for hoisting them slabs in the boat, never worry about line breaking, and fish a lot of days with the same jig.... In the pic below is my new Ozark with a $5.99 reel from Grizzly Jig. Co... ordered three of these and they seem to be okay, so with rod and reel I have $50 invested and would fish againist any rod out there.... the jig in the pic is the one I used yesterday, I glue my jigs to the lead head, even after catching over 30 to 40 keepers and straighten the hook out twice, I was able to fish all am with this one jig.... oh yeh it was chewed up split and mauled but it stayed on..... windy and raining so I was bored.......

Looks like a good combo Monty. I sure like the mini baitcaster reels. I started using the $20 Wally Marshall reel and love it. I can even cast it with an 1/8th oz jig.

I'm just like you on the cussing of the braided line.....spend half my time undoing it from around the tip....But it's the only line I will use. Nothing Prettier than a chewed up JIG!
Good look-in set-up.....Might take me a while to get used to a reel like that....I could get along better with a 202.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

I like that, Monty. Always thinking ahead aren't you? Good setup.

Monty, do you double rig your line with jigs or just use one?
