    Default Rod Blanks

I am looking for good rod blanks the average fisherman can afford. I have an idea but need some blanks to work with and don't want to pay an arm & a leg for just to experiment with. What if my idea sucks, I'd have hundreds of dollars wrapped up in junk rods.

I'm not sure what length your looking for, Mudhole has some sanded & unsanded seconds for a very low price. You have to dig around on their site to find them, but worth the effort they build into a very good rod.

St. Croix will hook you up. Prices vary as do the average fishermans income, price range for a rod.
