    Default Black Friday LOZ Report

    Hey, all.

Been really busy for quite some time and haven't been on the site much - also have not wet a line since fall camp.

Well, I'll be heading to LOZ for turkey day and may try to get out on the lake if the boss gives me a pass. I saw that the dock bite is still on and wondered what docks are producing the best:

Docks on points or back of coves etc etc?
What water depth to look for around the docks?
    How deep are they holding?
What arms of the lake are best at the moment.
Time of day for best bite?

I know that the search is part of the fun, but I'll have limited time and it would be nice to hedge my bets to help me find them.

Anyone gonna be out/down this Friday or Saturday? Let me know and maybe we can hook-up. I'll be bringing a boat down.

Bugman, Monk - you guys been up in Gravois lately?

    Thanks, all!!!

From what I have heard......main lake Gravois area. Lots of fish holding on docks. Bugman will point you in the right direction.

Couldn't find enough time to break away and get out on LOZ for a proper outing. Took my nephew out to the family dock one night and helped him catch a few. I went to my honey hole (farm pond) for two hours or so one day (that's all the time the boss allowed) and caught nothing. I usually have to beat the crappie, bass and gills off the line. I was at a loss as it is one of the best spots I know of, but I later decide that the pond must be going through turn-over.

    There's always next time, though.

Sounds good to me. I will probably be down next for Christmas - hope they are active then. If I'm catching fish I don't care what the weather is like. :D

PM me next time the bite is on - I rarely carry my phone with me.
