Default How much ice for 25 crappie

Lets say I go out from sunrise to sunset and keep 25 8-10" crappie. How much ice should I bring if the weather is going to be in the 80's

    Thanks for the help

A 25lb bag should be plenty if they're in a cooler.

Why are you keeping 8" crappie? My only guess would be that the crappie fishing in your area is pretty poor and you don't catch many bigger than 10".

It get worse! There are 540 lakes in my county alone and many of them hold stunted crappie only (4-6in) . I havent been able to find a fisheries biologist who can explain that to me. The good news is that this week I am fishing a tried and true crappie lake!
