    Question Smithville Turnover

Has it happened? Seeing reports on this board of other lakes beginning fall turnover but nothing about Smithville. Planning to take advantage of the predicted warm weather Thursday but don't want to get stuck in the middle of turnover.

I would say it probably has all ready happened . Our little state lake was a mess a couple of weeks ago but the water has settled down alot. Hope to make it over to smithville soon. Keep us all posted on the fishing thanks. Jim C.

Drove up to the lake today just to have a look... still a foot high. Stopped at Burton's bait and tackle to ask about turnover. The owner's wife said that the water temp. hadn't dropped enough to start the lake turning.

Had made arrangements to go fishing Thursday when I got an e-mail scheduling a job interview for Thursday afternoon. Aaargh! Priorities....
