Cool Lake Fork bass hunter turned perch jerker

Wow, never thought I'd see myself posting here.

I'm 24, live on Lake Fork...been fishing and working here since 2002, always been a bass fisherman. One day a few weeks ago the bass were not biting and a friend suggested we try crappie...needless to say I limited out a few times and now I'm hooked.

After getting made fun of by fellow bass fisherman I have decided I really don't care...you don't have to be old, retired, own a pontoon boat or have a pontoon boat to be a crappie fisherman

Anyhow, great site guys...hope to pick up some new rigging techniques and try and be less reliant on dock talk...

I used to be a bass fisherman.....but no more. Its way more fun catching crappie and big bream on ultra light gear. I turned my bass boat into a crappie fishing machine, LOL.:D Hey....the crappie eat good too!:D
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
