after a great weekend i couldnt go back to work today so called in sick and went to smithville we started out fishing the brush piles at the vistor center we lost 2 very nice wallies and a channel cat that went 15 and no crappiesso packed up and took a run all the way up camp to fish the timber had 3 shorts in 2 hrs then went down to boyscout cove and 50 plus shorts and a bass the went 5.5lbs and no keepers so we kept heading down the lake next stop was camp branch marina dockswe fished the outside row of dock we were staying about 20 ft from the docks and spider rigging in 23 fow 12 to 17 ft down and we FOUND them we just kept trolling from one end of the dock to the other end and most of them came from a 30ft strech on a bare flat we fished this spot for almost4 hrs but we ended up with 2 limits mostly 10s and 11s biggest went 14.5 and we went through almost 150 shorts to get what we got but it was a very nice day to be out there on the water i just may have to call in again tomorrow and go again :rolleyes:

Great news on the catch. I was on the other side of the rip raps hitting the brush piles. I saw a few boats by the slips and was wondered what everyone was fishing for.
