Default Wheres the camera when you need it

I need to buy me a little disposable camera to put on my boat. I see some beautiful wildlife at times while fishing. I saw several racoons playing on the bank yesterday. I followed a 6 point buck crossing the lake, those things are amazing swimmers, and from time to time over on Guntersville I get to see those big bald eagles soar. Nature is beautiful, glad I'm healthy enough to get out and enjoy it.

    Default Camera

    Crappieseeker,

I would recommend getting a 2 (or higher) megapixel digital camera with a 3 X optical zoom. They can be had for around a $100. Consumer reports just had a rating of them recently. Kodak easyshare had a couple models well rated and one was around a $100.

I keep our Digtal camara in the boat at all times. and don't see the stuff I used to. Had a bald Eagle take a fish out of the water within 50 ft of me on the river. And no camara.
Did see a eagle a few times this year. but no picture of it.\
    Good luck.

We generally keep a disposable with us in case we catch something nice that we want to release. If we had dry storage, we would consider carrying one of the SLRs. I've been pretty unimpressed with the digitals I've seen. - Roberta
