Welcome from Alabama.
HAY!
I do alot of tube fishing in N/E Texas lakes and creeks.
My kids Tube Fish
And sometimes I tube fish ALOT!
Loads of fun, and if ya ain't skeered you can do it year round!! Sure beats standing on the bank. I have kicked my Tube as far as a mile and a half just to get to a place I wanted to fish. Caught a nice mess, and kicked back. Work, but to me it's worth it.

Shipahoy and Harley, I grew up in Alabama.. Graduated high school and moved to Texas in 79. Would love to be able to go and fish some of those great Bama crappie lakes. Shoot some docks or whatever and persue that illusive 3-4 lb hawg!! I'm gonna be 49 in Dec. It's not that hard of work at all, and once you are on the fish, you are sittin pretty, cause you ain't gotta deal with no trollin motor or anchor.
hay: great post and nice to see someone taking time with their kids.
GOD bless
I used to fish from a tube some. It's a great way to catch some fish in hard to get to areas. Welcome to the board from Batesville, AR.
