Default Big Lake with The Slab Hunters

Well Randy and Anna came down to meet me and Angie this weekend. We stayed at my father in law's camp and had a ball! Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.

Randy was confused on what we were suppose to be catching!

Randy, this is what we are after! (Hey Pete, are these the fish you were talking about?!)

    Catch for the day Saturday.

Randy and my father in law.

Mrs. Anna, my sister in law and my daughter.

    And the work begins!

Dwyane, it looks like you had it all together on that trip! Good crew, good weather, and good fishing! And yeah, redfish (And some fair plie!) make a good catch!

If I knew where you lived, I'd be knocking on your door one morning. I need to walk a Dog across the reef northeast of Long Point bad! Had to stoop to fishing for bass this AM - caught two nice ones, but it ain't the same.

If you see Jeff or Sammy, tell them "Hi!" for me. I miss 'em! I really hate that lake, but I love fishing it - and the guys who I've done it with.

Hope the hunting season is good to you.
    Pete

Hey Pete, I know you know where Hebert's landing is, I am about 5 minutes pass there on Big Pasture Rd. If you get over this way, give me a shout. The specks are starting to turn on!
I know what you mean about the lake, there are days I cuss it! But then you get a nice day like we had saturday and you remember how good it can be!

Dwayne, thanks for the pictures and report. Looks like y'all almost had too much fun, if that's possible. Sounds like a perfect week end.

Thanks for the pics. The last picture seems like you are the one doing the work and Randy is looking for an adult beverage. We wouldn't want him to tire his arm out so he can still handle those aluminum cans.
