    Default Sassy Shad for Rugs

First I am not telling anyone or everyone to run out and buy Sassy Shads, I am just playing with them and having fun with them...... The first time I tied one of these on it scared me the way it hangs with a 1/8 oz jig on it, this is how I am hooking mine now, and even today with the hook up 70 percent of the crappie I caught were hooked in the upper mouth inside...... My local EE short for Ed Engineer said put it in the water and see what it does..... they float nice and horzintal when in this pan of water or the lake, and the knot you use doesn't make any difference, I tie the palomar knot.... I would imagine any 3" sassy, bobby garland,etc.... will float horzintal once in the water... there you go Rugs but it will catch Crappie either way you put the hook, I proved that on the first day......

Good stuff Monty. I can say that he was a fish catching machine even with it upside down the first day he used it. I can also say the old man's got way to much time on his hands. But what I don't want to know is what your better half is going to say when/if she finds out your got her table cloth out in the shop. :o
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
