    Unhappy Norris Report...


    ...went out last week and tried small minnows under a float along any cover I could find in the area of Cove Creek...water temps still in 70s....no luck at all.....will try again after this cold front moves thru...anybody else fish Norris?

    bushrod i dont fish norris for crappie but i
    read last weeks fishing report in the
    knoxville paper an it said that a few were
    being caught shallow early in the morning
    i dont put a whole lot of faith in that report
    i just read them to see what they say

    bushrod,I dont fish norris either but here is the fishing report from
    twra
    CRAPPIE
    Slow.
    5 to 10 feet, in the brush along creek embayments.
    Better at night, under lights and near brush, with small minnows as bait. Shallower in early morning and at dusk. When the sun hits the brush, the action slows considerably; fish early or at night. Small tube jigs, popeye flies, or minnows in the brush.
