Thumbs up Stockton Lake Oct 24th 2009

Thinned out the turkey population, brushhogged the trails to the deerstands,
cleaned out all the deerstands and went crappie fishin' at Stockton Lake.
The children have a pontoon boat slipped at State Park, took it out looking for crappie. Tried jiggs, I need help "jigg fishin"....slip bobbers and minnows were the ticket. Fished brush piles 25 to 30ft deep, caught 50 fish...only 10 keepers...fishing right off the top of the brush piles. Beautiful day...1st time I've tried to put pics on here...these are pics of me and my grandson...and I don't like the new cameras as they make look heavy and old.

Dang it, and I thought I got a couple things done around the house yesterday. Your making me look bad. Good thing about Crappie, they always make us look better in pictures. Congrats on what sounds like a great day.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I don't like the new cameras either, they make me look like I have a bushy beard and mustache
Great job though! Sounds like you had a very busy day.
