crappie fingerlings that smack hard

I was fishing Tims last week and was catching alot of small fish. I caught several that were as short as my pinkie finger which is only about 2 inches long. It was amazing how a crappie so small can smack a jig so hard you think he's gonna jerk the rod right out of your hand and then you catch a 13 incher that barely pecks it. I love that pecking, ticking feeling, there just aint much that compares to it.

I had the same experience about a week ago on a lake i thought they were going to be a nice big fish and they turned out o be two inchers.HMmmmmmm
