Default Farmington Elem. Schl. Tourn at Ken Lake

Farmington Elementary is holding a tournament this Saturday Oct 24 at Ken Lake Marina on Kentucky Lake. They are trying to raise money to send their kids on a trip to Washington D.C. but their response to the tournament has been real low because of weather and fishing conditions. It looks like Saturday is going to be an O.K. day to fish after all. The earlier forcast where not so good. Here is the web site with the info.

Be sure and give them a call if you want to fish it. They are paying three places.

    2nd-$500
    3rd-$250
They will have also be selling hamburgers and hotdogs after the weigh-in as well as a bunch of door prizes.Hope to see some of you there!

Benton fishing partners Tim Henson and Chris Gray won a recent team crappie tournament out of Kenlake State Resort Park, a benefit for Farming Elementary School sixth-graders’ Washington, D.C. trip. Henson and Gray led the field with a seven-fish limit weighing 11.83 pounds.

Murray anglers Sammy Tidwell and Danny Todd were second with a 10.89 limit, and Ben Howard of Calvert City and Gary Wurth of Paducah were just a smidgen back, third with a 10.88-pound limit that included the 1.99-pound biggest individual crappie of the event.
