    Default Triton help

    Hi All,
I recently purchased a 2000 triton SF 19. There is not a graph in the front of the boat, but there is a place for it (built in)...does anyone know what graphs will work in the recessed hole? Where can I get information on how to rig it up?
    Thanks!

I have a 2000 Triton TR19 and it has a Lowrance in the front but I'm not sure of the model. I will have to check later but I think it is a X80.

Thanks Bartman...does anyone know if it's pre-wired at all? Has anyone actually added or changed one like this?
    Thanks!

Measure your hole up front and see what will fit mine was for a x80 but you can order a new dash for front to fit pretty much what you want i got mine from a triton dealer. they are not pre wired for a depth finder. pull your plate anyway and check when you purchase a graph you will have to get the in-dash kit also. hope this helps.

I was wrong. My front is a X48 and the console is a X65. I wouldn't recommend either one if these and doubt if you could find one. You could always make the existing hole larger and most new ones will be larger than the X48.

I assume that you want one up front to put on your trolling motor. If so, mount it in the new larger hole and run the transducer cable to the trolling motor shaft and leave enough slack so it won't catch when lowering the TM. I would also assume that the existing power wires are still there so you can connect a new sonar to it to power up.

Use a Ram Mount. The ram makes for a much softer ride on the LCR. There is only 2 wires to hook up electrically. Hard to screw that up. It is easy to find a hot wire with a 12 volt test light. Butt connectors and heat shrink is optional.
