I was tight lining minnows in a tree top yesterday and I got hung up. I pulled this up with my hook. I caught about 15, 10 to 11 inch fish. Sure was a pretty day.

This thing has the texture or consistency of a ripe peach. The color has changed somewhat but, not much. It looked like a big blob of vaseline on a stick

    Default I have no idea

I don't know what it is, but I've pulled up the same kind of thing off of the stick ups in my lake just recently.
