Who can tell me where I need to go and find Crappie near Vicksburg? Where is Eagle Lake and what other water is available? Is Ross Barrnett any good?

I normally fish Palmyra Lake about 14 miles South of Vicksburg and its great for crappie, when you can get in it. The river is too low right now to get up the chute into the lake so the Deer Camps on Davis Island have it to themselves.
I am going 10 miles further south to Yucatan tomorrow. Its river connected also but has two good landings on the lake itself whereas at Palmyra you have to put in into the Old River. I went to Yucatan last weekend to check it out(didnt put in). Its low, didnt see much visual structure but I know the Crappie are in there, just need to locate them. Will probably need to spider rig and fish open water 8-12 ft deep. Lake really looks good and I intend to learn it better for when Palmyra is inaccessable.
