Thumbs up Have you started catching more crappie-

Okay guys have you started catching more crappie than you have other years. I have caught crappie every trip out. If I fished from my boat I caught crappie, If I fished off shore I caught crappie. I use the same presentation from shore or boat. I don't troll. Yes, I use a slip bobber setup. I have been using crappie jigs in 1/16 and 1/32oz. crappie jig hooks. Crappie tubes 1.5in. in avariety of colors red/white has been my best color. I tip my jigs with white crappie niblets. So how has your fishing been improved or the same. Have you learned anything off this wonderful sight. If Yes, what have you learned? I think others would like too know also.

My last trip out after crappie, another bucket full.

Never tried the white ones but have used about all the other colors. They work! I used them one day speckle trout fishing with a DOA shrimp jig. Out fished the guy in a boat right beside me using live shrimp at least 4 to 1. Been simular times that happened crappie fishing too. Like the time my buddy and I were fishing a hump at High Rock in NC. We were fishing the exact same jig but I was using a nibble. We caught our limit of 40 there. I caught 37 of them. Go figure.

Are you referring to the "Gulp!" product when you talk about "niblets"?
