    was out there in the afternoon on Tuesday, and didn't have the best luck, but caught a few small white bass. Did see some people pulling several crappie off the bridge pillars, using minnows on a free line with split shot.

    Some folks in a pontoon said they started at 1:00 and when we saw them around 4 they had over 30 in the boat, that were at the 10" range...and we saw them catch and release lots of short fish.

    what is the water temp. At our state lake here in Atchison it went from 63 deg.Wed. to 59 deg. fri we kept 42 biggest about 11 in most around 9 in. After the clouds cleared they stopped. Jim C.

    Wed-caught a few in about 12 foot of water-6 foot down with jigs,didn't start hitting till about 10 a.m.
