    Default Turkey with my bow

I was fortuante enough to take this turkey with my bow last Friday. It was raining (there's a shocker) so I decided to climb into my blind on a field edge. After a short time, a group of tom's made their way into the field. This one got just a little to close. At 22 yards I was able to put a good shot on him with a Rage 2 blade broadhead. He only went a few yards before piling up. Not a monster bird, 17lbs, 7" beard, 3/4 inch spurs, but I'll take that with a bow any day.

Good shootin...I shoot at 'em too when they get close enough..I'm glad Ky lets us harvest turkeys while bowhunting...I've killed 5 with a bow over the years..every one while deer hunting....

    Congratulations.....

Wow, that is awesome. Taking a turkey with a bow is seriously hard to do. I have had several opportunities and blown each of them due to missing or getting busted :D.

    Big time congratulations to you!
