Red face We didn't get skunked but...

Well we tried it today. Not a real good day. Lake fall'n and a lot of current in the lake. Could not find the fish. Jeramy did manage a few. First fish in the boat. He did real good.

Had a feasco at the boat ramp. I drove the boat up on the trailor, Jeramy hooked me up and didn't make sure the dog was on the winch. When he pulled me out you can guess what happened! Not good. My fault. I shoulda checked it. Boat came 2/3's the way off the trailor and landed on the ramp and somehow popped the right tire on the trailor off the rim. We managed to get the boat back on the trailor without any damage & changed the tire. Guess what. Spare was brand new & never on the trailor. Darn near flat when we took the trailor off the jack. We made it to the air and got'er pumped up and made it home. Darn what a day!

Here's a couple of Jeramy's fish. He had a ball dispite the poor fish'n.

That was a nice looking fish, and he will learn with experience and time. No Biggie this time. Teaching moment. That's a great thing that you are doing with that young man.

You might consider adding a safety chain, Terry. Trusting that winch strap all the time isn't really that great an idea considering that its made of fabric.

Wiskers, You Can Tell That ,by The Look On Jeramy's Face, You Have A Friend For Life! It's Really Nice That You And Your Wife Have Taken To Such A Nice Young Man Like That! Maybe All Of Us Should Try A Little Kindness More Often Than We Normally Do. I've Been Around Boat Docks Leaving To Go Out And Noticed Young People There And Often Wondered If They Had Ever Been On A Boat! Guess Next Time I Need To Ask, Might Just Make A Person's Day Just As You've Made Jeramy's! Plenty More Days Are Ahead Of You And With A Friend For Life, It'll Only Get Better!!
