    Default Smithville 10/10

Finally got the boat back in the water Saturday after 4 weeks of being busy or out of town. I started in the timber in the cove on the southwest side of W and caught a few fish in 12 fow on the bottom. After a slow hour I went to the brush pile in the cove just southeast of W and the catching really went up. Caught about 30 fish off that pile and ended up with 7 in the livewell that were around 10 inches. On the brush pile fish were any where from top to bottom and blk/chrt seemed to work the best. Not the best day weather wise but it was nice to be out catching some fish.

Glad to hear you found some slabs around the W brige. I hit the pile on the NE side of the W bridge yesterday and didn't catch a thing. I passed it up and should have tried the one you hit.
