Thumbs up These things work great!

Don't know if anyone uses these (velcro cable ties) to hold pole ends together while in storage but I have tried them and they work great. You can get 50 for about $7.00. You can leave them on the pole handle if you want to. They last forever. But the best thing is, my wife's not chew'n my butt out all the time for stealing her hair thingies! :D

You can also use the two sided Velcro that comes in a roll and then cut off the size you need. I use three long peaces to hold my rods together after I lay the rods in my boat.

Are those available at a hardware store or at wally world? Sounds like a good idea with a lot of uses.

I've also used these for years, both for keeping fishing rods from clattering around and for keeping guitar and PA cables under control. I think I got mine at Radio Shack, they were $3.00 for 5 ties, if I remember correctly.

They are greatness. I got mine at Home Depot but can't remember what department. Maybe by the chains and cords?

I like the roll option, it would be select-a-size then for what ever the need.
