My custom cover is 8 years old and leaks water. dosen't bead at all. Is there a treatment to restore the waterproofing.

all the above will work but only temporarily, if you got 8 years out of it thats pretty good, but i know those custom fit jobs are expensive....did it have a warranty?

I tried all of that and nothing worked and rather shell out a couple hundred bucks for a new cover i bought a roll of black plactic 4 mil. put it over my exsisting cover and trimmed it to fit clamped it down with those little plastic clamps. Replace plastic once a year, hasnt leaked since. Roll of plastic 30 bucks and lasts for years.

I just bought some stuff at BPS that I am going to try on my cover sometime soon. It is called WATERPROOFING WITH PTEF. A friend said he treated his rain suits with it and it worked great on them.
