    Default My biggest crappie ever


    I went fishing last Friday at Mozingo for a couple of hours and caught this 16 inch crappie. The fish hit a blue and white jig in 22 ft of water 16 ft deep. Main lake brush pile. I didn't weigh it but I'm sure it was over 2 pounds. I thought I had a bass until I got it to the boat and then I about sh** in my pants. This is the first crappie I caught over 15 inches.

    Great fish Dave! We went to Mozingo a couple weeks ago and found them deep as well, just not THAT size

    Great fish and nice photo of it. those 16 and over are hard to come by. Go look for another one.
