Cool.
Got any pics from the water looking towards shore?
Well, finally got the boat dock approved from the TVA Czar. Only took 8 weeks. I had to fill part of the shoreline with rip rap (tva land, my rip rap, my expense). So, I am finally getting underway with the construction. TVA allowed me to extend out 150 feet so I will have accessible water year round finally. I really sucked some TVA butt to get this length approved.:o
I have never seen a dock installed by a professional. It should be interesting to see how the "pros" do it.
I will be posting pics as they proceed with the construction. Most everyone should find this interesting.

HOI Crappie Club

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
Gotta love the rip rap requirement(I understand their intent) but what about the rest of the rest of the river? You did get 150' out though so it was worth it for sure. 50' is the norm around here. Lots of "dry docks" in the winter around here usually. Congrats!
Ought to get some of those carpy lookin green fish hangin out chasin crawfish after a while. They're fun to watch. How deep will you be at the end of the dock? I see brushpiles in your near future.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Right now I am only 1 foot water a full winter pool. I should have 5- 6 foot full winter pool. Need it for the boat lift. The start tear down today, so I will be at the lake for a while. Good birthday present to myself. Old dock 40 years old. Repair would cost almost as replace and I would still be in short water.

Tom, Frank & I would like to suggest a heated fish house at the end of the dock with big screen sonar, plenty of brush under the floor, plenty of snacks and a few cold drinks...
If we think of anything else we will let you know...
We might be able to coax Beav to make a trip with us....

Shoot he has brush piles and stuff not. LOL
That is why people can't catch fish there. Tom has them all at his place. I can see it how. 300 ft of crappie beds.. 150 on each size. Man I know where I'm fishing.
Heated dock does sound good to me also. Tom make sure to have a pizza docking spot. That way they can deliver.
