    Default 12 volt flood lights

Where can I buy 12 volt flood style bulbs for my nightstalking lights. I dropped one and broke it yesterday, and went to a few autoparts stores and all they have are 50 watt standard bulbs. Do you think an RV store may carry them?

You might try looking at a place that sells boats and marine supplies

I buy the standard house base screw in bulbs in 12 volt at Home Depot. Never looked for floods as I have a big aluminum reflector on my night stalk lite.

I purchased some 12 volt floresant type bulbs from Starlux illumination 717-442-2951. Steve Blank [email protected] I think they work great!

I have a power inverter on my boat and use 110 volt floods. Little expensive starting but they work great.

Don't use the actual flood bulbs. They will run your battery down faster. If you do what I do you can run way more lights and get more brightness of less battery. I do the inverter thing with my 12v, a 350w inverter. Instead of getting regular bulbs use the energy saver flourescent bulbs. I get em' at Ace's Hardware. They cost a lil' bit more but they're way worth it. I use the 150watt bright flourescent bulbs, but to get that brightness it only burns 42 watts. So that means I could run up to 8 150w power flouresc light off one inverter because I am really only burning 8x42 watts. I run trolling motor, GPS Finder, 4 150w clamp ons, 2 starfire II underwaters, and even all off two deep cycle batteries. I can run all night with this setup too, and its not a mess in my 14 ft boat. I just run inverter to battery. A multi port power strip, and plug all the clamp ons into the strip. You can use the off/on switches to the lamps if you only feel like running a couple for a while or just want to turn them off/on to pick up bite.
