    Default Fishing in lightning

First, I ain't ever done it or ever will, I'd be out right now if that were the case.
I was fishing awhile back and there was a guy that told me that fishing on the floating docks in lightning was safe because it had a plastic decking. and it floated on plastic floats so it wasn't grounded.
I ain't buying that, those things are hooked to the ground with cables. I don't care if the decking was plastic.

I don't know either, won't know either. Just have to wait for the light show to go away (unless DWM1960 and spouse are running the show)

Our Light Shows Blow Up Like Lightning! There Has Been Fireworks Displays That Were Electric Fired That Have Gone Off Early Because Of Close Lightning And Static Electricity. And Most Accidents In Manafacturing Of Commercial Grade Fireworks Are Due To Static Electricity.

Oh I Would Say Any Boat Dock, Anchored Normally With Steel Cables, Medal Frame, Plastic Floats, Wooden Floors Would Be Completely Safe For Any Moron Who Would Want To Try To Fish Off It In A Lightning Storm. Just About As Wise As Standing Under A Hickory Tree Which Has A Deep Tap Root.

But Who Among Us Haven't Pulled Up Under A Boat Dock To Wait Out A Rain Storm In A Boat?
