Default Finally had a chance to go Crappie fishing!

After a very busy summer, we took a vacation day on Friday and finally had an opportunity to go Crappie fishing. We took our friends Gary and Pat with us who we introduced to Crappie fishing in the spring. We kept 79, the limit was 80 and only kept fish 9" +. Most of the fish were 10" with quite a few at 11-12". I have attached a picture of the cooler full of Crappie, our friend Pat with one of her bigger fish and two love "birds" who were inseperable for the day. (goose and duck???) We fished with tube jigs, black or blue head with chart tail. Garlic spray seemed to make the difference. We will now be able to have our annual fall fish fry!

    Lots of fish! good job.
We have 5 of those white ducks, Easter ducks that were turned loose on the lake. They like to mingle with the geese too.
