    Default Jigpole reels

Whats your favorite jigpole reel? I'm a triggerspin man mainly, like the Zebco 11T. Less birdnest troubles over an openface. I know it's a cheap reel but most of the time it is just used for line storage alltho sometimes I do cast with it. Use mainly 10' jigpoles. To me as I hold a pole in each hand that the small triggerspin has a nice balance to it. I see where Zebco has come out with a Gold and Platinum but have not seen any around here, anyone using them? Or any of the other small triggers? I have a couple of the Wally Marshall Deluxe crappie reels that I got to use with braid but am having trouble with the anti-reverse on them, no matter which way I push the 2 buttons it does not work but maybe 10% of the time. Lost the manual with them.

I Live Close To A Bass Pro Outlet Store. They Have Catalog Returns
And Rods And Reels That Have Been Repaired. There Are Usually A Whole
Lot Of Wally Marshall Spinning Reels, And Occasionally Some Of His
Rods. Makes Me Think His Reels Are Not That Sturdy. The Rods Usually
Have Two To Six Inches Broken Off Of The End, But Still Work Well For
    Nightstalking.

Yeah, Its All Right But I Have To Keep The Check Book Away From
The Wife So She Doesnt Know How Much I Spend. A Lot Of Guys
Hit The Store On Their Lunch Hour To See What New Stuff Has
Been Put Out. I'm Waiting On Another Anchor, The Hard Part Is You
Had Better Buy It When You See It Or It Will Be Gone The Next Day
If It Is Really A Bargain. I Saw An Anchor One Day, Had No Money,
Went Back The Next, And The Anchor Was Gone, They Don't Hold
Stuff. Being Close To The Outlet Store Is Both A Curse And A
    Blessing.

    Best Regards

    Default Ok

Mo'n back and Tommy. Glad I ain't the only one who like the Martins. I got a shop full of them (old ones and new ones). They tough. I like em cause you can strip line off fast and the are light and ain't complicated to use. They is all Honey will use. I guess you guys know Clyde (my robot boat) uses one. haha
I like me Diawa DX40's too. But Martin's never let me down. Cheap too...All the grand kids poles have Martins. They (Martins) sure do save me a lot of hastle. What it all really boils down to is: the person behind the pole, not the pole....Reels don't catch the fishes, they just time savers...
