    Default Thursday at Stockton......

Mine was about the same as Beagle's. WINDY was the word for the day. Started up son's around 9:00. All brush piles had boats sitting there, and saw no one waving me in.....so headed for the timber. First drop....Bam.....14" bass. That got me woke up. Fished 40 trees....not one crappie. Headed up greeser and saw Beagle and Darrell.....So I new I was in a good spot. Caught 2 SMALL crappie there. Beagle said lets head for Birch Branch. Was there about 10 min. and got my first Keeper about 12 1/2". 10 more min. got the second keeper. 3 1/2 hours later only 1 more keeper. Caught several close....but no cigar. Blk/ Chart w Nibble. 20 fow was best and 2 cranks up. First time in a while I caught 6 fish off one spot. Had to keep the trolling motor on 3-4 all day. Didn't think it was gonna be that bad. Had a great time anyway. Later. mike

Oh....Gave the fish to a good ole boy!
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

Well At Least You Had The Nerve To Go. I Say That Forecast About The Wind And Decided I Would Stay Home. And After I Watched It Here Yesterday Afternoon I Am Glad I Did.

Yep, you knew he would be converted after the rice burner hauled half a forrest to his place last weekend. :D

RICE........it's what's for dinner. Well maybe not, it was Crab Legs for dinner tonight at the little get together.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
