    Hi to everybody, new to the site, lots of good info. Has anyone heard anything about lake conway besides AGFC reports. Didn't have much luck this time last year. Used to be hot around Gold Creek about the first of Oct.

    welcome aboard. Love me some Lake Conway and yes it does turn on in Gold Creek area this time of year. Check on the Arkansas message board for details.

    Welcome to the forum. You should find some good action around Gold Creek. Jump on the Arkansas tab and talk to the locals. You'll learn alot and they're quick with the information.

    thanks for all the replies and I'll be watching for the action to heat up. Seem like to me that you start catching crappie right past the rail road bridge in the remaining pad along the creek bank as they start to move up in the creek twords the middle or end of Oct. See ya on the lake

    love palarm creek for bass it's the quickest way to art's pond that I know of good crappie action too
