Default Smithville gives up a few 9/15

Finished welding some racks for a guys layout trailer around noon and decided it was time to hit the lake. I sure hate it that most all you other guys had to work all day.:D

It's been a long time since I put 15 keepers in the livewell from that lake but yesterday was the day. Fished from 3-7pm....best bite was around 5-6.

Fished 18-22 FOW and 4 FD in the main lake timber. Double rigged with blue/silver and black/white curly tail grubs.

Nice mess of eaters....nothin for the record book.

If I get all the laundry caught up and floors mopped today....might try it again today.

Nahhh. The short one was workin on a school project with the middle child and Big John was at work when I headed out. I do enjoy their company....cept my ribs hurt the next day from laughin at em so much.

Think Im gonna see if the morning bite is on tomorrow....not supposed to be as windy.
