Looks like a good one for that lake
Went to longview for a couple hours before football. Ended up with one really nice one that I had to measure. Ended up being 1lb 6oz. Wish I could get into more of these on longview, but the trend seems to be 1 at a 1lb or over per trip plus a bunch of small fish.
Had to measure him, so that's when I took this phone pic.

You Should Have Kept On Fishing With No Better Than The Missouri So Called Pro Nfl Football Teams Played Today!
Here's a longview crappie Steve caught 15 inches caught in mouce creek.
It seems like you only catch one big one at a time. Lots of 9.5 and tens
fish structue on east bank, across the swimming beach.
Good job. How deep of water and how far down were they?
Alex (KC Area, Smithville Lake)
The big one I caught was in 10ft of water, maybe a foot off the bottom.
Here's the link to the jackson county brushpiles. I had never looked this up before tonight. With all the standing timber in these lakes, it seems funny to me that anyone would fish them. Not to mention that when the weather is nice, you'd never be able to fish most of them due to the big ski boats, and blasted jet skis.
