    Default St.Croix Factory Tour

Last August I drove up to Park Falls Wisconsin to attend a custom rod meeting hosted every year by St.Croix..and the Rod Guild.
You don't have to be a Guild member/or a rodbuilder to attend, but you do have to register..St.Croix provided the food and I do mean food !!St.Croix bends over backward to make you feel welcomed !!
The factory tour lasts all morning and you can register to make you own Legend Elite rodblank..that will cost 45.00.
There are rod demostrations, lectures, I was invited to present a lecture on my Cross Timbers Diamondback Rods..it was well received..
This trip was a dream come true !!To be in the building were the St.Croix's were created was just overwhelming, their factory is the state of the art..employees where willing to answer any questions..I never seen such teamwork !! Most of my bass rods are St.Croix's..Crappie, I'm still working on !!
The factory store is like being a kid in a candy shop...you can buy a blemished St.Croix for a fraction of the cost of retail...there are discontinued rodblanks for the rodbuilder to buy !!Plus surplus rod supplies for the rodbuilder to buy, at dirt cheap prices !!
It is only 1300miles one way to Park Falls, yes, going back next year !!Lake Superior is just up the road..let me tell you ,that is not your average bass lake !!
That was quite a trip !!

    LedHed....
It is actually a three day event...and it is a annual event for both St.Croix(sponsor) and the RodGuild...
The food alone is worth the trip !!!...:D

Sounds like fun although 3 days of talking about fishing and not actually doing any fishing may be torture:D

I thought I'd might add , that the St.Croix Factory Store is open year round for business...for you guys that just might venture up that way...it is certainly worth the detour !!...:D
