Default Had A great Day Thursday

Since I joined C.C I have been very interested in jig tying, I read all the threads I could and a few weeks ago I started tying. We'll Thursday I went fishing and this is the first fish I caught on one of my jigs. I can't describe how great that makes you feel but I can say I'm hooked on tying. The crappie was 16" long and here's a couple of pics, later tonight I will post a pic of my jigs in tying area.

    .

I am trying to learn to tie jigs, too. My first attempt (successful that is) was a white head with purple body and black tail. Caught a few crappie on it but the bass wouldn't leave it alone. So, back to the drawing board.
