You might want to put your stand in the woods a little more. Nice buck!!! Good Luck.

That 10 point might just make it into Pope and Young if you get him with a bow....Minimum for entry into P&Y is 120 inches if I'm not mistaken......

I think they only take compound or traditional bow harvests tho......

Thats a nice buck.. good luck on getting him. oh and another thing, you might want to set the date on your game cam, it seems to be a year and half or so off.

I shoot a .300 too...theyre awesome if you can stand the kick!:D I wouldnt worry too much about book deer, rather just enjoy yourself over the season and take the shots the good Lord provides. A few years back my son got a 12 pt. that green scored 188 and some change. When the rack finished going thru the drying process I asked him if we were carrying the head to have it scored and entered into P & Y and B & C books. He said. "What for? We already have the deer." That's about the same way I feel...unless we killed a world record or something (like that's gonna happen:rolleyes::D). Dont misunderstand, there's nothing wrong with entering deer heads into trophy books if that's your bag....just not mine.:p
