Does it have to be a Browning? How about a slider rod instead?

I have a couple of old Lew's Speed Sticks like that -- great rods. My dad left them to me, so I don't want to part with them.

I know what you mean, though. Tennessee handles are sweet and graphite TN handles are even sweeter. I wish they weren't so scarce.

I can get you the info off mine if that will help. But mine I bought new around 1987. Still using it and wish I had 4 more like it.
Let me know and I will get you the numbers off mine. And it does have the handle like the rest of the Graphite rod.

i have an older browning midas graphite 6.5', 2 piece rod. Not exactly sure what a tennessee handle is(vauge idea). This has a cork foregrip and butt section, but the reel seat feels like metal, and is much smaller in diameter than most rods. the model number of the rod is 732915.

It's just a plain piece of cork (or graphite, in this case) with no reel seat of any kind. You just tape your reel to the handle.
