Mrs JJ left early Friday morning (4 a.m.) for Bucksaw. Her intention was to get a walk-up camping site....but they were all full. We had reserved a site for Sat and Sun night and guess it was just as well that we didn't get one for Fri night as it rained all night.

She wanted to fish on Friday, so she went out with Richard Bowling for 1/2 day....here is a picture of one of the 10 or so BIG crappie they threw back. Then on Sunday - she kicked my butt again (2nd picture) - another biggie she threw back. We caught more quality fish this weekend than we have in a long time - up the river from Bucksaw. Oss special was the bait of choice.

The Back Of Your Boat Is Hot. Sometimes Us Men Just Have To Suck It Up.

I Wish You Could Have Seen Chris's Face (:( This Is Chris's Face) @ Crappie Camp When He Walked Up Thinking He Had Big Fish. And There She Was Holding One Visably Bigger. Don't Even Need To Scale It To Tell The Differance.

I Had To Councel Him For A Week.

Nice Fish Sue. Keep Up The Pressure.:)

Great catch. I don't see a lot of timber around you. Where were the fish and how did you fish for them?

Nice looking fish. I was wondering if you all could give me a couple lessons on that part of the lake? It kicked my butt the past couple days.

The area we were fishing is up river from Bucksaw. Some of the spots we fished were the same area we seen Saturdays crappieslayers tourney guys fished. we just sat in one area & watched the tourney guys. Other area's were promised we wouldnt give out the spots. Other spots we have paid dearly for the info.

Pretty sure we drove by you and waved on Sunday when I was leaving Otter. If so, we finished up not far from you, on the other bank where the cedars are right on the channel edge. They were packed in there like sardines on the cedars in 12ft of water or more.

Just having fun with you guys Gary, I'm sure you'll represent yourselves quite well and thanks for getting it started. We're going to have a good time. The wife hasn't picked up a rod since early May. She's asking if we get to use those little red and white "floaty" things on our line again,,,oops.

We're still officially out of towners living here only a short while compared to most. OSS says he'll let me know when I can be called a "local" and I'm not even close, maybe another twenty years or so.
