Default Anybody have a Zebco 11?

I think it's a great reel! I have owned for around 1-month and have caught tons of 'gills with it! Anyone else have one? I also caught that 11" crappie on it last night! It worked great ...

I have one of the little Zebco spincast reels that could be a 11, but it's in the attic and I'm unsure what model it is. Fished with it for years, and finally the line pickup pin quit working. Had it on a little Berkley 4-1/2' spincast rod. Finally I gave the rod to a nephew. It was a great little outfit if you spooled it with not over 4 lb. test. I fished mainly for bluegills but got a few small bass, crappie, catfish, and trout on it. Seems like the whole combo was less than $35.

been useing the #11 trigger spin for around 12 yrs now. they made a big impovement a few years ago when they came out with the Platium series. it has two pic up pins. in my opinion it's the best reel on the market for crappie!

I like the trigger spins too. The zebco 11 and shakespear makes one that I like as well.

Nice little reels for spider rigging but I do dislike the drags. Zebco definitely needs to improve there.:o

They are a good reel for the money. Virtually disposable, I have several of them.

I have one that was a combo with a 6ft. slab seeker rod. I love the little reel cause how I hold the pole I always have a finger against the line to feel those ever so light taps. I caught some nice slabs with it today and have landed several LM trash fish with it. The drag is not the best. But it works. I use the 6lb hi-vis line on it. I'm looking to get another combo soon.

I have several of each. They are both inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. They seldom last a year on my jiggin poles.

some of mine are over ten years old and still workin fine. You can buy new parts for them when they wear out.
